Marta Belogolova is a multidisciplinary hyperrealist artist. Born in Saint Petersburg (Russia), she moved abroad at a young age and proceeded to practice and study art in Lugano (Switzerland) and London (UK), as well as study art history at Saint Louis University Madrid. Marta began her journey as a painter but progressed into experimenting with multiple mediums. Her current project, Organic, looks at the human body through the lens of resemblance with nature by means of body positivity and recognition of non-mainstream beauty. It combines multiple materials and mediums (sculpture, printmaking, gilding, mixed media, VR) into a stylistically coherent body of work. Marta's art explores the phenomena visible to the human eye, such as cosmic complexity, infinite uniqueness, and the unity of elements visible in the patterns. She aims to shift our perception by emphasizing overlooked aspects of ordinary things.
